What are the specialties of this talent?
Rian is a Manager within KPMG Transaction Services and has a strong focus on Private Equity. Rian, as fulltime deal specialist, with cross border experience, supports clients providing a wide range of services on both buy- and sell-side transactions (e.g. Financial Due Diligence, Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) or Vendor Assistance (VA)).

How does the talent distinguish itself from its peers?
Rian embarked KPMG transaction Services in October 2015 and established in a short time an impressive track record of deals. Rian rich experience comprises transactions within HR Software and services, Real Estate, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Retail and the food industry for a wide range of national and international private equity and corporate clients. He worked on landmark deals such as the sale of Eneco, IHC and Stage entertainment. Rian as a natural connector is always looking for new opportunities and possibilities.

What impact does the talent have within the organization?
Rian has a drive to educate people and get the full potential out of his team. Rian has co-developed the on-boarding training for new joiners at Transaction Services. Rian understands and embraces the high pressure work but creatively finds time to chill/relax. Rian has been responsible for the organization of several events for the Private Equity community.

What impact does the talent have outside the organization?
Rian is very sporty, next to playing golf and tennis Rian is training for an Ironman 70.3. He furthermore travelled through South America from December 2019 to March 2020, right before the Covid-19 crisis. Really trying to live life to its fullest potential. Both professionally as personally. Via KPMG Rian assists Invest-NL with multiple engagements regarding TOPSS and other related engagements.

Being from a true entrepreneurial family Rian knows how to empathize with the situation of his clients. He knows the dynamics of buying and selling a company as Rian experienced this from first hand.
