Wat zijn de specialiteiten van dit talent?
Pranav is an all-round investment banker from whom we’ve seen a strong ability to bring insightfulness and a different perspective to strategic situations. With his excellent technical skills, sector knowledge and ease in understanding a client’s needs, Pranav has not only acted as deal captain on numerous complex transactions, but has also built a trusted relationship with many clients and is able to source deals at a young age. Pranav, furthermore, leverages his international experience (having worked in London and Mumbai) and creative mindset to bring something extra to the table. He has proven to be extremely valuable to clients and an exemplary mentor and motivator for the younger team members.

In the past year, Pranav has worked on numerous high profile transactions such as the carve out of Stater to Infosys where he assumed a very senior role throughout the transaction. His role as deal captain included managing multiple international buyers, negotiating the share purchase and shareholder agreements as well as the long-term client contract with the existing shareholder. Simultaneously, Pranav has worked on several other successful cross-border transactions this year, such as the acquisition of Hitec by Air Water and the sale of Garvest BV’s stake in OLX Indonesia to Naspers. He is currently also involved in the sale of an asset from a large TMT company and the sale of a fast growing Tech company. Despite the intense deal activity, Pranav’s origination efforts remained at full speed leading to promising marketing leads.

Pranav is considered very pleasant to work with, mature for his age, calm and in control. Pranav feels a tremendous responsibility towards the department, especially the younger team members with whom he spends time to develop not only their skills, but also their self-esteem and sense of belonging. His reach goes well beyond Corporate Finance and has extended into numerous other departments in the bank, where he has laid the foundation for a close collaboration that has added value to the overall servicing of our clients. Within one of the bank’s strategic pillars – reinventing the customer experience – Pranav is furthermore involved in efforts that contribute to the fulfillment thereof.

Besides maintaining an impressive network through activities such as the CFA community and many personal connections, Pranav is also a true advocate for diversity, which he substantiates with his contributions towards the hiring of international students and in the fostering of an inclusive environment. His involvement in the bank-wide diversity programmes, contributes to one of the key focus areas of the bank and the financial community in general.

Pranav has a natural ability to work under pressure and at a young age, he has negotiated complex share purchase and shareholder agreements with limited senior supervision.
