What does it take to win this title?
The best deal of the year is about more than just the highest number in the headlines and the art of deal-making is more than just drafting a contract. That’s why the Best Deal Award should not be based on price alone, but primarily on the value a deal adds to a company and its exit strategy.

How are the nominees and winners selected?
In the categories Best Deal and Best Deal Mid-Cap, numerous nominations were submitted over the past few months via MAawards.nl. Many thanks on behalf of the editorial team and the jury. Additionally, the editorial team nominated deals based on input from 1,500 M&A and Private Equity experts who participated in the annual M&A Awards survey.

The jury panel, Rob van der Laan (Founder and Managing Partner at NewPort Capital), Brigitte van der Maarel (Managing Partner at Karmijn Kapitaal), Maasbert Schouten (Entrepreneur, investor and CEO of N.V. MaasInvest) and Margot Engels (Operational Partner and CEO at Holland Capital), have carefully reviewed and selected the nominees for the M&A Awards 2025.

Final scores are determined 25% by your vote and 75% by the jury. Vote now for your favorite deal. Voting closes on Monday, 1 December at 23:59 CET. You can vote for one deal only.
