With his eagerness to learn and determination to make the deal happen, Max distinguishes himself from his peers. Also, his experience and role in a landmark deal like the EMK Capital – Eyecare transaction, in which Max played a strong role, separates him from his peers. His experience allows him to have an important seat at the table in all of the transactions that he is involved in and by being the go-to person for our clients takes on a central role in any process.

Towards clients and relations Max is being recognized as an all-round advisor and he has a high “goodwill factor”. As a result clients are calling directly to Max and asking him for advice. Post closing clients are also reaching out to Max to stay in touch, which will result in new commercial opportunities in the future.

In the deal Max stays calm when the heat is on, this makes clients trust Max and his judgement. In line with our company culture, Max always has a honest and direct approach to our clients, which is highly valued, and is never afraid to give his opinion. In sell-side transactions Max is also directly in touch with buyers and other advisors, able to express the concerns of the client in a professional manner searching for the best solution to overcome any issue. Furthermore, Max is willing to make the extra mile to ensure that he will not be surprised further on in the process and the deal certainty is increased

Max has proven himself in the 5 years at Lindenaar & Co as a rising star in M&A. He has made a strong contribution in several complicated and challenging (cross-border) transactions like, for example, Eyescan – OSG/Nordic Capital and Eyecare – EMK Capital. He has shown impressive growth in the 5 years at Lindenaar and we are convinced that his growth will continue in the years to come. With his development Max is ahead of his peers and he is on track to become one of the leading dealmakers in the Netherlands in the near future.
