Since its founding in 1977, Cinven has grown to become one of the most prominent investment funds in Europe, focusing on leading European and global companies. Cinven invests in companies with a market value of over €300 million, with opportunities for value creation that leverage Cinven's European and sector expertise. Cinven invests in six different sectors: Business Services, Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrials, and TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications). As an investor, we demonstrate a deep commitment to our portfolio companies. At least two Cinven team members always take an active role on the board of directors, and Cinven supports the management team as needed. Cinven prefers to work with strong management teams, and Cinven team members are not involved in the day-to-day management of the company. Cinven takes a responsible approach to its portfolio companies, their employees, suppliers, local communities, the environment, and society. Currently, Cinven is investing from its seventh fund, which has €10 billion in capital.
